Six steps for resourceful innovation by Scott Burnham

In my last book This Could… there are six steps to help people do more with what they already have. The section really caught on with entrepreneurs and innovators, and people asked if the steps were available as a standalone guide.

I realized my mission to increase resourcefulness and self-reliance could reach more people if the steps lived on their own with more room to breathe. So here they are, reworked, revised, and specifically tailored for innovators and problem solvers: Six Steps for Resourceful Innovation.

What is Resourceful Innovation?

  • New solutions created with the things you already have.
  • Problem solving without depending on extra funds or materials.
  • Future-focused strategy for continual discovery and innovation.

The steps you will be guided through in the book will give you the tools to discover opportunities others miss, to work with the flow as resources and situations change, and to unlock hidden potential from everything around you. Most important of all, they will give you the ability to unlock the hidden potential of yourself.

This guide features expanded and revised versions of the steps that originally appeared in This Could. They have been revised and tailored for innovators and bootstrappers who prefer the action scenes of movies more than plot development. So, if that sounds like you… here are the action scenes.
