Six Steps for Resourceful Innovation

$6.95

Resourceful innovation is an essential component of the future. We will always have increasing needs and problems to solve, but we won’t always have increasing resources to use in doing so. Those who are able to create opportunity and solutions using what they already have will be the resilient ones with greater ability to navigate the ups and downs.

The steps outlined in this book will give you the tools to discover opportunities others miss, to work with the flow as resources and situations change, and to unlock hidden potential from everything around you. Most important of all, they will give you the ability to unlock the hidden potential of yourself.

The steps in this guide have been expanded and revised versions of the steps that originally appeared in This Could….

They are tailored for innovators, bootstrappers, problem solvers, and those who prefer action scenes of a movie more than plot development. So, if that sounds like you… here are the action scenes to make resourceful innovation part of your personal and professional life.

Description

“New needs need new techniques.”
– Jackson Pollock

My book This Could… began with those words from Pollock. It seems even more fitting to include them here as I send a revised version into the world. Five words rarely frame the entirety of a book’s mission so well.

You learn a lot when you write books; even more after they are published. This Could… was created as a catalyst to show how we can become more resourceful and reduce waste by doing more with what we already have. In the middle are six steps to help people do so.

The section really caught on with entrepreneurs and innovators, and people began asking if the steps were available as a standalone guide.

I realized my mission to increase resourcefulness and self-reliance could reach more people if the steps lived on their own with more room to breathe. So here they are, reworked, revised, and even more resourceful: Six Steps for Resourceful Innovation.
